Holistic Healing

Workshops

I've teamed together with another great practitioner to put together some great workshops. We have a variety of interesting workshops on offer at a very reasonable price and will be creating some new ones for 2016. We’ve pulled together different learning styles and most of our days have interactive sessions to keep you engaged too.
We want you to enjoy our workshops – because love doing them too! If you are open to learning a bit more about healthy living and getting in tune with nature, then attending a workshop with Jayne Birkett and I could be just what you are looking for. For more information on Jayne, please see my holistic community page

Workshop Offers We've been using a lovely venue at Ings but we've also travelled to a variety other places on request to deliver our workshops . If you would like us to come and deliver a workshop closer to home, then get in touch and we'll be happy to try and accommodate you.
Perhaps you ‘d like to experience one of our workshops with a group of people you know / you can’t make the dates advertised or its too far to travel for you. The minimum group size is 10 people (ideally we prefer up to 15) and the organiser gets a free place if they can provide the venue. Do get in touch if this appeals to you.
We are also available for corporate health and well-being days. We want to get the message about healthy lifestyle and well-bring to as many people as we can.

Discover Shamanism

Shamanism is our most ancient spiritual tradition. It has been practiced for tens of thousands of years in every part of the world. It is the spiritual practice that the overwhelming majority of our ancestors practiced, going way back into human history.
Michael Harner, an anthropologist, rediscovered shamanism studying cross cultural shamans in the 1960’s. He identified that you could take an indigenous shaman across the world to another indigenous tribe and that their practice would be almost identical. There is no other ancient body of knowledge that is so consistent globally. Michael Harner adapted shamanic practice so that it could fit into any environment including the modern western world.
The fact that shamanism has survived and thrived is testament to its truth, power and usefulness. It is in itself not a religion, and need not be incompatible with any religious practice. Throughout its long and varied history, shamanism has taken many forms, appropriate to the culture it has found itself in.
Therapeutic Shamanism combines the principles of shamanic work with those of modern counselling and psychotherapy. It is highly relevant to modern life and its dis-eases. It provides an easily-learnt tool kit of techniques and methods that are profoundly useful for personal healing, help with life issues, raising self-awareness, personal and spiritual development, and much more.

What Will You Learn?

• The history and key concepts of shamanism
• How to how to enter a shamanic journey
• You will experience journeying to meet your Power Animal
• You will also learn the basics of how to journey for others

New for 2017: Shamanism - Next Step Workshops

We’ve been working on a series of one day workshops to help you develop new skills and confidence in shamanic journeying, our Next Step Days are designed to help you deepen your experience of Shamanism. Please note these workshops are only available to people who have previously attended either one of our Discover Shamanism workshops or attended an Introduction to Shamanism with either Paul Francis or one of the practitioners of The Three Raven's College.

Shamanic ‘Next Step’ Days: What Are They All About?

The ‘Next Step’ days are the next stage on from The Three Ravens' Introduction to Shamanism Day. Completing the Introduction / Discover Shamanism Day is necessary before continuing on to the Next step days however you can go onto the Foundation Courses facilitated by Paul Francis founder of The Three Raven’s College without attending any of the ‘Next Step’ Days.
The Next Step Days have been designed to allow you to experience more shamanic journeying and to cover more of the fundamentals of shamanism to grow your confidence and knowledge and allowing an easier transition into The Three Ravens foundation courses should you want to further your study.

Day 2: The Stone People

The stone people are the foundation of all life, all life form is made from mineral it could be said “We are stone people dancing, experiencing being human”. Homeopathy & Health for Beginners

How would you like the skills to help yourself, your family and friends with a safe natural & effective treatment for minor ailments and upsets?
Why not come along and join us for an exciting new workshop

What Is Homeopathy?
Recognized by the World Health Organisation report in 2005 as the second most popular healthcare choice, Homeopathy is a therapeutic system which harnesses the body's natural ability to heal itself. Homeopaths sees illness as a recognition of disharmony within the body and recognise that it is the whole person that needs treating rather than the illness.
Homeopathy is a form of holistic medicine used to treat both acute and chronic conditions by promoting the bodies own healing response. It is based on the principle that ‘like cures like’ and can be used as a medicine in its own right or complementary to other forms of healing and works well as part of an integrated approach to health.
Homeopathy is virtually 100% safe and can be used alongside conventional medicines without concern over interactions.

We aim to teach you the essential skills you need to choose the right remedies effectively for yourself and your family to use in everyday situations.
